Saudi Arabia issues special instructions for Umrah pilgrims

Riyadh: In Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has issued important instructions to those who issue Umrah permits through the Tawaklana and Etemarna app.

The agency says that if visitors want to make any changes to the permit’s date, they can do so before the deadline, but not at the start of the permit.

According to Saudi media, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has pointed out that it is not possible to change the date of Umrah permits.

If the permit holder wishes to revoke the license, he can revoke the permit four hours before the expiration date and issue a new permit.

The ministry says that if the permit holder cancels the permit after it has started, then the new permit will be issued ten days later and not earlier.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has denied rumors that the licenses of several categories of Umrah permit holders could be suspended due to an increase in cases of corona virus in Saudi Arabia.

The ministry says the claim is a rumor and has nothing to do with reality. Anyone who has been granted an Umrah permit is effective.
