Saudi Arabia issues special instructions for air travelers

In Saudi Arabia, a booster dose has been made mandatory by the Ministry of Health for those who took the second dose of the vaccine eight months ago to prevent coronavirus.

On this, the justices said that according to the regulations of the Ministry of Health, those who come to the country who have received both doses of vaccine in the country do not need to be quarantined after coming to the country.

Travelers who have not received both doses of the vaccine in the kingdom will be quarantined five days after arriving in Saudi Arabia.

Such passengers will have to undergo PCR test as soon as they arrive in the country, while they will also have to undergo PCR test on the fifth day of quarantine. The quarantine can be terminated if the report is negative.

It should be noted that Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are being administered in the kingdom by the Saudi Ministry of Health to prevent corona virus.

Synovik and Synofam vaccines, which have been approved by the World Health Organization, have also been approved by the Saudi Ministry of Health, but are being used in other countries.

According to the Ministry of Health, non-vaccinated travelers in the kingdom are given a booster dose of the vaccine upon arrival in Saudi Arabia, after which their status becomes immunized upon reliance.

In this regard, the licenses said that a maximum of 48 hours before the trip abroad would require a PCR test and a valid exit promise.

People who are not eligible for booster doses have status immunity to reliance, relying on booster doses or having to make an appointment on the health app. ۔

Individuals who are not eligible for the booster dose do not need a booster dose for the travel ban, but must have a PCR test 48 hours before the trip.
