Saudi Arabia: Great news for employees soon!

Riyadh: An online system for resolving domestic worker disputes will soon be introduced in Saudi Arabia.

Suleiman Al-Twaijri, director general of the country’s Employees Dispute Resolution Agency, said an online system for resolving domestic employee disputes would be introduced soon.

He said the system would initially be for the Saudi capital, Riyadh, and would later be extended to other areas.

Suleiman al-Twaijri said that committees have been set up to settle disputes of domestic workers online through which employers and employers will be able to register complaints against each other.

In his statement, he said that the parties would settle their issues online and the relevant committees would review them.

It should be noted that in Saudi Arabia, the process of resolving disputes through the ‘Wadi’ system for ordinary employees was started two years ago and now domestic workers are also being made a part of it.

The ‘Wadi’ system was successful in resolving disputes of ordinary employees online.
