Saudi Arabia enacts new law on CCTV cameras

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Local Government, Rural and Resettlement Affairs has said that installing CCTV cameras inside beauty parlors is a punishable act.

It is against the law to install CCTV cameras inside beauty parlors, a law punishable by Saudi law.

According to Saudi media, the Ministry of Local Government has issued a statement stating that the penalties for the installation of CCTV cameras in beauty parlors will be enforced from January 15, 2022 to 12 Jamadi Al-Thani 1443 AH.

The ministry noted that further penalties would be imposed on the installation of CCTV cameras, the beauty parlor would be sealed for two weeks, satisfaction would be obtained for the correction of violations and the penalty for repeat violations would be doubled. Will be done
