Riyadh: Saudi legal advisers have instructed companies to take action against their employees who follow extremist organizations on social media.
According to Arab media reports, legal advisers in Saudi Arabia have warned that following the accounts of extremist organizations and dissidents is a crime punishable by severe punishment.
Advisers have warned that it is a crime to look at the accounts of people with deviant views in addition to terrorists or organizations, in which case action will be taken.
He said that following extremist organizations and dissidents could result in up to eight years in prison. Hold employees accountable so they can be punished.
Under Saudi law, anyone who supports a terrorist organization or acts of terrorism can be sentenced to a maximum of eight years and a minimum of three years in prison.
Expressing sympathy in the above case would also be considered terrorism.
