Saudi Arabia: Ban lifted, government allows

Riyadh: The Saudi government has lifted the ban on social distance in wedding halls and allowed the halls to be used to its full potential for celebrations.

According to Arab media reports, Riyadh Municipality has issued new SOPs related to Corona for wedding halls and celebrations, under which participants of the halls will not have to observe social distance.

However, the new protocol regarding marriage halls stipulates that all participants should take both doses of the vaccine and use the trust barcode. Full vaccination of hall employees is also mandatory.

People have to wear masks. Working women have been instructed to wash their hands from time to time and arrange for sanitation of personal belongings.

According to the guideline issued by the relevant institution of the Saudi Ministry of Health (Waqia), sanitizers should be placed in prominent places in marriage halls and regular cleaning of toilets should be done.

Similarly, waiters should use masks and gloves when providing services to guests, disposable items should be used, if any person is found to be ill, he should be separated immediately.
