The Saudi cabinet approved drafts of a memorandum of understanding between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia on the transfer of prisoners, an agreement on cooperation in the fight against crime, and cooperation in the fight against the illicit drug trade.

According to the report, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, on Tuesday attended and chaired a regular cabinet meeting for the first time since the Karuna epidemic.

According to the state-run news agency SPA, the cabinet meeting condemned and expressed outrage at the Houthi attacks on international shipping lanes in the Red Sea, important installations in the UAE and the kingdom, civic institutions and citizens.

The Cabinet called on the international community, especially the UN Security Council, to take action to stop the Houthi aggression in order to safeguard world peace and security.

Acting Minister for Information Dr. Majid Al-Qasbi told SPA after the meeting that the Cabinet reviewed the changes taking place at various levels. Also presented.

He said that the country had also approved a memorandum of understanding with Kuwait for cooperation in direct investment and the cabinet had also approved a draft agreement for cooperation with various countries in combating drug trafficking.

Al-Qasbi said the meeting also approved a cooperation agreement between the World Tourism Organization and the Ministry of Tourism.
