Jazan: A terrible incident has occurred in Saudi Arabia during the rains in which a girl was struck by lightning and died.
While the monsoon rains and harsh weather have spread happiness on people’s faces, for some people this season also brought moments of sadness.
According to the report of a foreign news agency, a girl was killed and her sister was injured due to a lightning strike in the eastern commissionerate of Jazan region of Saudi Arabia.
Talking to the media, the head of the victim’s family said that on Friday, there was a series of rains with thunder in the region, and at the same time, the sound of lightning was heard in a very frightening manner.
The citizen further said that the lightning struck his house which affected his two daughters.
The elder daughter who was 27 years old was knocked unconscious by the lightning while the other daughter who was with her was also affected.
The victim further said that the daughters were taken to the hospital with immediate medical aid where it was found that the elder daughter had died while the second daughter was given first aid after which her condition improved.
