São Paulo is moving on to the quarterfinals of the Brazilian Cup after taking down Náutico 2-1. Cédric Soares started for the winning team, playing 89 minutes.
Luciano scored just 4 minutes in, but São Paulo’s Ferraresi got ejected at 22′.

Despite being down a player, São Paulo still managed to score again with Rodriguinho at 75′. Náutico’s Hélio Borges scored late, but it wasn’t enough.
Vasco da Gama also made it through with Nuno Moreira starting. The game was tied 1-1 after Rayan scored at 42′ and Ademilson tied it up at 90+3′.
In the penalty shootout, Léo Jardim made three saves to win it.
Athletico Paranaense, led by coach João Correia, beat Brusque 1-0. Kauã Moraes scored the game-winner just 2 minutes in.
