Actress Sanya Malhotra recently shared her distinctive experience dancing for Diljit Dosanjh’s song “Charmer.” She posted a personal note on her social media channels about the process. Malhotra indicated that the song provided an opportunity to venture beyond her usual comfort zone.
On Wednesday, Malhotra unveiled an Instagram rehearsal video for “Charmer.” The footage displayed her skilled dance moves while wearing a white dress.
Malhotra shared in her caption that she had never previously danced in heels. She humorously added that she now finds it difficult to stop. The actress also thanked her team and the director for giving her this opportunity.
The Instagram post attracted comments from several celebrities. Actresses Janhvi Kapoor and Rakhi Sawant both reacted with fire emojis. Singer Sophie Choudry lauded Malhotra’s performance, commenting, “Love your moves… always.”
“Charmer” is a track featured on Diljit Dosanjh’s album, “Aura.” The album was officially released on October 20. Avi Sara composed the music for the song, while Raj Ranjodh wrote the lyrics.
The music video, showcasing Malhotra dancing energetically in a beautiful setting, was directed by Shariq Sequeira. Shlok Ahuja handled the cinematography, and Yash Kadam provided the choreography. Before “Charmer,” the song “Kufr” from the same “Aura” album featured actress Manushi Chhillar.
In other news, Malhotra recently appeared alongside Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor in the film “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.” The movie premiered in theaters on October 2. Malhotra is reportedly slated to appear next in a film opposite Bobby Deol.
