History will be mixed with the competition and there will be boats that competed in the 1936 Berlin Olympics. For example, the ‘Acacia’ and the ‘Ian’ were built in 1929 and are the oldest. “The classics division is a real gem. It will be incredible to see how the wood plays with the waves ”, explained Campos.

On Monday 13 the measurement day will take place and on Tuesday the competition will officially start with the first start. There will be a maximum of eight tests distributed during the five days of the regatta and when it comes to talking about favorites, Pedro Campos did not want to get wet: “Here are the best in the world: the last two world champions, the last two winners in Europe, and also great crews. This class was Olympic for about 40 years so some of these boats even have Olympic medals.”
