San Pablo does not recover from a bad first half

Hereda San Pablo Burgos could not get the second victory of the season in Europe after be overwhelmingly defeated by Rytas Vilnius (87-69) in a game in which at no time he had options to take the helm and he was in tow for the 40 minutes.

The bad second quarter of Zan Tabak’s men condemned the team to have to fight the game much more and, despite the fact that in the third quarter the team signed some good minutes that gave some hope, it was not enough to win.

Tyrus McGee was the best of the match, after the break reaching 20 scoring points, while Ivan Buva was the highlight of a Lithuanian team that played a very choral match.

The Hereda San Pablo Burgos suffered a lot in the beginning, especially with the inner game of Rytas Vilnius and the Croatian Buva, who easily found how to break the Burgos defense that he was not being entirely reliable, but neither was he in attack, with poor decisions that led him to finish the first quarter behind on the scoreboard (22-17).

Nevertheless, the second quarter did not improve the ideas of San Pablo, but they were worse and, on the contrary, the Lithuanian team started a scoring festival that led them to score 28 points while losses and bad decisions condemned a team that offered its worst version.

Nor did the script change much after passing through the changing rooms, although Tabak’s team tried, but Giedrius Ibanas’ team continued to see the rim so easily that they came to dominate by 20 points of advantageHowever, the Burgos team did not lower their arms and after three good offensive actions they reduced the advantage of the Lithuanian team to 14 points.
