San Lorenzo thrashed Belgrano de Córdoba 3-0 this Monday, as a visitor, and is a leader together with UAI Urquiza, of the YPF Women’s Championship, in a match that marked the continuity of the third date of the contest.
Midfielders Eliana Andrea Medina (at 46 minutes) and Rocío Vázquez (at 58), as well as defender Cecilia López (at 77), scored for the Santitas at the Julio César Villagra stadium in the Mediterranean capital.
With the third consecutive victory -last date they beat Defensores de Belgrano 2-0, at home, and in their debut they beat Racing Club 2-1, away- and undefeated, San Lorenzo returns to the lead with 9 points, together with UAI Urquiza. Belgrano, on the other hand, is tenth with 4 units.
Meanwhile, River beat Excursionistas 2-0 in the classic from the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Belgrano, at the River Camp in Ezeiza.
