San Lorenzo: the lists for the elections were confirmed

San Lorenzo de Almagro will elect its new authorities on December 17, after the strong demand of the people for a change of course in terms of leadership. And the five lists were confirmed.

Always San Lorenzo, the proposal of the Front of Opposition Groups, ended this arduous journey of negotiations with Cipriano Pommies at the head, and with Ricardo Saponare, who was a candidate for president in the 2019 elections, as vice. Originally the owner of the space was going to be Sebastián Pareja, who stepped aside. This list suffered several drops and changes from its official launch until the moment of confirming the candidacy.

Another opposition proposal will be that of former CD member Marcelo Moretti, who will finally be accompanied by Darío Coronel in his space Boedo in Action.

César Francis, current member of the Board of Directors for the minority, will be accompanied by Cristian Mera in his already typical Volver San Lorenzo, space in which it was presented in several of the last elections. In the case of Francis, he was one of the first to launch but one of the few not to do a formal event with his team.

The last opposition proposal will be that of San Lorenzo Renewal, headed by tourism businessman Enrique Ronzoni, who will be accompanied by the accountant Matías Noval, who led the economic team in the official presentation of the candidate made prior to the match with Huracán.

Finally, it was confirmed that the official binomial will be made up of Miguel Mastrosimone and Sergio Costantino, who was in doubt until the last moment, to try to give continuity to the proposal of San Lorenzo Siglo XXI. The current vice and secretary will be accompanied by Sebastián Torrico, who announced his retirement and will get involved in club politics.

In the particular case of Moretti, former president Carlos Abdo filed a formal complaint against the candidate. Everything arose within the framework of an interview that Julian Regueyro conducted on his YouTube channel: Moretti insulted Abdo, alluding to the fact that he has the box he rents on the San Lorenzo court for “cronyism”, and not for having paid the corresponding canon that accredits with what actually paid for it.
