The San Lorenzo Board of Directors confirmed the advancement of the elections, which were originally to be held at the end of next year, for Saturday, December 17, 2022 in an Assembly held in the vicinity of the Platea Norte of the Pedro Bidegain stadium.

This was determined in the vote, which ratified the date that the ruling party, currently headed by Horacio Arreceygor, had proposed at the last CD meeting.

“The Assembly of Representatives of Members of San Lorenzo set the day for the elections to define the new president, after the resignation of Marcelo Tinelli. They will be on December 17. By a large majority, the date that the Board of Directors had raised was approved” , I inform the institution on its official site.

The advancement of the elections is a very present claim among the members and fans of San Lorenzo given the football and economic crisis that the club has been going through in recent seasons, and there were even two mobilizations this year towards the headquarters of Avenida La Plata for this reason. .

So far, there are four spaces that will participate in the elections: the ruling party will present a candidate again, although it has not yet been announced who will be number one on the list.

In addition, César Francis will command “Back to San Lorenzo”, whose assembly members voted against carrying out the act on December 17 because they requested that it be on October 29, while the Front of Opposition Groups will be called “Always San Lorenzo”. “and will have Sebastián Pareja at the helm.
