Samsung’s Latest Campaign Against Apple Calls on Users to “Jump the Wall”

Samsung launches campaign against Apple, this time attacking the Apple company for waiting years before implementing innovative technologies in iPhones.

Samsung’s latest announcement, titled “On top of the wall”doesn’t name Apple, but the symbolism of the walled garden and the lure of offering innovations outside the ecosystem is a clear indication that Apple is once again under attack.

The ad shows an Apple fan trying to jump the fence to the other side, where there are flip phones. Of course, it’s Samsung’s way of showing that it has managed to offer something that Apple doesn’t have in its catalogue.

Samsung also mocks the lack of high-resolution cameras in Apple’s smartphone ecosystem. After years of using a 12-megapixel sensor in iPhones, Apple has finally made the leap to a 48-megapixel main camera on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. On the other hand, Samsung already offers a 108-megapixel camera on flagships like the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Samsung’s campaigns against Apple have not always gone well. After mocking Apple for removing the charger from the phone’s case, Samsung followed suit a few years later, deleting its own tweets. The company also attacked Apple for removing the 3.5mm headphone jack a few years ago, but it soon deprived its own Galaxy phones of the feature.
