Samsung will launch a new 30W charger alongside the Galaxy S21 Series

Whether it was “inspired” by Apple or not, the fact is that Samsung also seems to have decided to remove the charger from the standard equipment of its smartphones, starting with the new Galaxy S21 series that will most likely be announced on the next 14 January. Also in this case, “environmental impact” could be the official motivation for this choice which, obviously, is destined to make consumers discuss.

At the same time as the arrival of the new iPhone 12, we recall, Apple has lowered the prices of the earphones and the charger after replacing the 18W model with a 20W one. According to rumors, together with the new Galaxy S21 (which we recently also saw “live” in some leaked videos) Samsung also plans to launch a new 30W charger at a lower price than the current 25W.

Furthermore, the Korean company would also have designed special cases with S-Pen for the Galaxy S21 Ultra. Samsung’s decision to set aside the Galaxy Note series to focus on the Galaxy S and its Folds, which are taking on an increasingly important role in its product portfolio, is now certain. The functionality of the Notes should all be integrated in the Galaxy S21 (it is not known if in all or only in the Ultra version) even if they will not have the integrated S-Pen. Those who want these functions will have to purchase a special cover.
