Samsung Unveils Thinnest Foldable Phone Galaxy Z Fold7

Samsung’s latest teaser confirms the Galaxy Z Fold7 is made with the most advanced tech. This phone is part of the brand’s foldable series.

It’s thinner and lighter than the previous model, the Galaxy Z Fold6. The new design makes it easy to hold and use with one hand.

The phone is 9 mm thick when folded and 4.54 mm when open. This is thinner than the Galaxy Z Fold6, which was 12.1 mm thick.

The Galaxy Z Fold7 will run on Android 16 with One UI 8 and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. This chip has a max speed of 4.47 GHz. It’s the same chip used in the Galaxy S25 series.

What to expect

The phone’s new design makes it easy to use with one hand. Samsung wants to make foldable phones as thin as possible. This way, they’re easy to carry around.

The Galaxy Z Fold7 will be launched with the Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Watch 8 on July 10, 2025. The event will be streamed online.
