Samsung shows a preview of One UI Watch for smartwatches

Samsung today introduced its new operating system One UI Watch for smartwatches, created in collaboration with Google.

The new platform offers performance improvements, a more seamless experience across devices, and access to a greater number of apps.

In addition, Samsung has advanced that Your next Galaxy Watch will be the first to introduce the new Unified Platform and One UI Watch, to be announced this summer at the Unpacked event.

One UI Watch, the watch compatible apps that have been installed on the phone will be automatically downloaded to the smartwatch.

For example, if you customized the watch app on your phone to show the time in different cities around the world, this will also be reflected on the Galaxy Watch. And if calls and messages are blocked on the wrist, they will now be blocked on the phone as well.

The new platform will also offer new features and integrations with third-party apps available for download from Google Play directly on Galaxy Watch.

In addition, Samsung includes an improved styling tool for watch faces, making it easier for developers to create new spheres. Later this year, Android designers will be able to launch new proposals that will join Samsung’s growing collection of watch faces.
