The technology giant Samsung presented its new mobile phones this Wednesday Galaxy series (S24) and highlighted that the artificial intelligence (AI) is being integrated into innovative tools such as real-time text and call translation or creative photo editing.
The South Korean company launched the phones at the Galaxy Unpacked event in San Jose, California, USA. Galaxy S24 Ultra, S24+ and S24which aim to improve the lives of users in general, but especially in relation to their main function, communication, as stated in a statement.
In this sense, the tool is “Live translation' enables text and voice translations during calls using the phone's native app; 'Interpreter' translates live split-screen conversations using a transcript and 'Chat support“Perfect the tone and style of your messages.”
There are also useful tools for work, such as “Hint assistant', which creates AI-generated summaries in Samsung Notes, or 'Assistance with transcription', which uses this technology to transcribe, summarize and translate recordings, even when several people are speaking.
The Galaxy S24 series also features the “Circle to search', created with Google, which transforms the search experience and, among other things, allows you to touch anything on the screen to find results, such as a landscape in a social media post.
Telephones contain the “ProVisual engine', which includes a suite of AI tools to improve image capture and creative editing; 'Nightography', which perfects photos and videos captured with Space Zoom; and options like “Generative editing', which uses generative AI to fill backgrounds.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra model stands out: It has the largest screen (6.8 inch QHD+), durable and resistant; a titanium frame; a slimmer body and improvements such as a telephoto camera 50MP with 5x optical zoom and a chip Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
The price is from $1,299 in the US. In Spain, mobile phones can be reserved until January 30th: the Galaxy S24 Ultra part of 1,479 euros; the Galaxy S24+ part of 1,159 euros and the Galaxy S24 part of it 909 euros. All are available in different colors.
