Samsung has an app for iPhone users to test the Galaxy S23

The rivalry between Samsung and the iPhone is recognized, with mutual efforts to try to convince users to switch. Now, the South Korean launches a new incentive for the purchase of the Samsung Galaxy S23.

To this end, Samsung has made the Try Galaxy app available. This was designed to offer users a method to experience the benefits of a Galaxy S23 directly on an iPhone, without going to a store.

Try Galaxy is the Samsung app that simulates the experience of using the Galaxy S23

This is a web app, which means you’ll need a browser to run it. How can we read in Try the official Galaxy pageit will only work on Safari 7 and above.

It is also through this page that you can install, on your iPhone, the application developed by Samsung. To do so, simply scan the QR code on the page and the app will be added to your iPhone’s home screen.

This app was designed for the purpose of giving iPhone users the ability to experience Samsung products. According to various reports, if you try to read the QR code on another device, nothing will happen.

The goal of the Try Galaxy app is to give users a bit of the experience of using a Galaxy S23, Galaxy Z Fold4, or Galaxy Z Flip4. It does so by simulating the experience of using One UI 5.1, based on Android 13, and its main features.

First of all, users are offered a small navigation tutorial with the necessary bases. From there, the experience of using Samsung products is mirrored, despite some lag inherent in a web-based simulator.

Through the Try Galaxy app, iPhone owners will be able to experience top Samsung and Google apps and services. Namely, the Google Messages app which, ironically, does not provide RCS communications, but rather the SMS standard.

The settings menu highlights the ability to choose wallpapers, themes based on Google’s Material You design language, and Android’s security and privacy features. That is, some of the main aspects of the rival operating system of the iPhone.

In short, the Try Galaxy app focuses on demonstrating the main features and attributes of the latest Samsung software. Will that be enough to convince users to switch from the iPhone to a Galaxy device?
