Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold Price Rumors Suggest $2,499, Below $3,000 Estimates

Samsung’s anticipated triple-folding Galaxy Z TriFold smartphone is facing scrutiny over its potential price, which, despite recent rumors suggesting it could be lower than initially expected, is still projected to be a premium offering.

Latest speculation indicates the device could launch at $2,499, a significant reduction from earlier estimates that placed its cost as high as $3,000.

Even at this revised price point, the Galaxy Z TriFold would remain considerably more expensive than other high-end foldables, including Samsung’s existing Galaxy Z Fold 7, which starts at $1,999. Analysts suggest this figure positions the TriFold in an “unaffordable” category for many consumers, even if it is “more reasonable” than previous projections.

Samsung has not officially confirmed the development of the Galaxy Z TriFold or released any details regarding its pricing or launch.

Previous reports had indicated a presentation date of December 5, with an estimated price of approximately 4.4 million Korean won, equivalent to about $3,000 USD. This earlier price would have made the device 50% more expensive than the Galaxy Z Fold 7.

The more recent rumored price of $2,499 would place the TriFold $300 below the price of Huawei’s competing Mate XTs.

Speculation suggests a limited market launch for the triple-fold device in 2026, possibly following an official presentation before the end of 2025.

Initial markets for the Galaxy Z TriFold are expected to include the United States, South Korea, China, and the United Arab Emirates. The multi-fold design aims to introduce new form factors and design creativity into the smartphone market.
