In the last week of July, Samsung will hold its second Unpacked event of the year to reveal more news.
Among these will be the new generation of the Galaxy Watch 6 which, meanwhile, is going through various certifications that indicate that its launch is getting closer.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 detected on Google Play Console platform
It will be in the last week of July that Samsung unveils its next generations of Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 smartphones, as well as the new Galaxy Watch 6 family. Smartwatches have just been detected on the Google Play Console platform.
Although this platform does not make any kind of disclosure about the specifications of the new Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, the fact that they are already located in that location suggests that their launch is getting closer.
However, various rumors have already revealed many details of the models. For example, Samsung is known to have equipped wearables with larger batteries. The 40mm Galaxy Watch 6 is rumored to pack a 300mAh battery, while the 44mm version will pack a 425mAh unit. The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic should also have a battery with the same capacity.
For comparison, remember that the 40mm Galaxy Watch 5 had a 284mAh battery and its 44mm variant a 410mAh battery.
Other sources say that this 6 series models will have thinner bezels and larger screens than their predecessors. The new portable devices will be powered by the Exynos W930 processor combined with 2 GB of RAM and up to 16 GB of internal storage.
Prices start at 319.99 euros for the European market
However, through rumors, the prices of the new Galaxy Watch 6 models for the European market have also been revealed. More specifically, the prices that are now known refer to the French market, and from one region to another there may be some changes in costs.
Let’s start with the base model with 40mm and Bluetooth that will cost 319.99 euros. Add 4G communications to this model and the price goes up to 369.99 euros.
The 44mm variant equipped only with Bluetooth will cost 349.99 euros and this same model with LTE communications will be priced at 399.99 euros.
Now let’s move on to the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. The 43mm variant with Bluetooth will cost €419.99 while the same variant with 4G will cost €469.99.
Finally, the 47mm Galaxy Watch Classic 6 will cost 449.99 euros for the Bluetooth-only version and 499.99 euros for the 4G version.
