Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 could arrive 10% faster than its predecessor

It is expected that in the second half of this year, Samsung will hold a new Unpacked event to introduce a series of new products.

Among these will be the Galaxy Watch 6 which, according to the latest rumors, can arrive 10% faster than the previous model, thanks to the brand’s new proprietary chip.

Rumor has it that this year Samsung will hold another Unpacked event. This will be the stage for the presentation of a new series of products, which will include the Galaxy Watch 6.

Now new rumors are advancing that the smatwatch may come equipped with a new processor, the Exynos W980 SoC. The same sources also ensure that, with this chip, the new model will be 10% faster and more powerful than its predecessor, which integrates the SoC W920 chip, also owned by the brand.

Other information revealed is that the company will use the new 5nm process in the Galaxy Watch 6 chip that could allow for a longer battery life.

Previously circulating rumors indicated that the 40mm model could arrive with a 300mAh battery, while the 44mm variant will have a 425mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 is also expected to arrive equipped with a 1.47-inch display with better resolution and an optimized screen-to-body ratio. Remember that the previous model has a 1.4-inch Super AMOLED panel that provides a resolution of 450×450 pixels.

Returns the rotating physical bezel

One of the latest information published is that the Galaxy Watch 6 will return the rotating physical bezel. Says the Ice Universe leaker, known for being reliable in his information.

This is a feature highly appreciated by users, as it makes it easy to navigate through the menu. However, in the Watch 5 series, Samsung “disappeared” this feature.

But not all are good news. It seems that the rotating physical bezel will be an exclusive feature of the Galaxy Watch 6 Pro, with the rest of the models keeping the software option that replaced this feature.
