Wear OS 3.5 will be the operating system of the new Samsung Galaxy Watch 5

The set of images revealed on Twitter by Evan Blass give us a first look at what the next iteration of Samsung’s software for its watches will be. In them we can see several new features, from new watchfaces to new accessibility options.

Use operating system 3.5

In the first range of images, the new dials that should integrate the range of options of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 are revealed. We have more classic dials or more interactive options that aim to satisfy various types of needs.

In the accessibility options department, we have new settings for clock audio output and touch screen pressure settings. Also note the new options for color calibration on the Galaxy Watch 5.

For those who want to answer messages directly from the wrist, a new QWERTY keyboard will be implemented and should be integrated into all models with Wear OS 3.5. We even have an illustration of the GBoard-style swipe writing mode.

Also note the documentation for actions triggered by a double click on one of the physical buttons on the watch. Hopefully this option will be customizable, allowing the user to choose an app or action to perform with this method.

For the end we leave one of the main documented novelties: support for dual-SIM. That is, the user can have up to two cards connected to his watch for his communications.

All the novelties documented here should be made available to the public with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5. We will know, over time, if its predecessors will also be covered with these functions.
