Samsung wants the Galaxy Tab S8 to compete directly with Apple’s iPad and is betting on the best specs.
Now it has been revealed that the next tablet of the South Korean giant will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor at the controls and that it will be available in several variants.

Lately, Samsung’s upcoming tablet has been the subject of many leaks revealing that the South Korean giant is betting on the best specs for the Galaxy Tab S8 in an attempt to make it the most direct rival to Apple’s iPad.
Now it has been revealed that the company will put the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor at the controls of its tablet, which, in turn, will be available in several versions with different storage capacities and RAM.
The tablet was spotted in a listing on the GeekBench website under the Samsung model number SM-X906N and scored 1215 in single core tests, while in multi-core tests the score was 3159 , with the new Qualcomm processor.
On the other hand, other news reports that the Galaxy Tab S8 will be available in several versions; As for the RAM, it will have variants with 8 GB, 12 GB and 16 GB while the internal storage will come with 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB.

But the variants do not stop there, since the Samsung tablet will also have several options in terms of connectivity. Thus, variants with Wi-Fi will also be available, with 4G support and also 5G communications.
Another piece of good news is that the Galaxy Tab S8 will include support for the S Pen and even this will be magnetically attached to the Samsung tablet for easy portability. The tablet will be powered by a robust 11200 mAh battery with support for 45-watt fast charging.
Previously, the SamMobile site had already advanced that the Galaxy Tab S8 is equipped with a 14.6-inch WQXGA screen with a notch that will house two front cameras of 12 megapixels each. On the back, the tablet will also feature a dual-camera setup, with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a six-megapixel wide-angle sensor.

Apparently, the Galaxy Tab S8 will come with the One UI 4.1 interface, based on Android 12, which brings with it more options and customization for the user. Among other features, the tablet will also have an additional dimming mode for night use without disturbing third parties and the option to launch applications directly from the taskbar.
Other sources of information indicate that the Galaxy Tab S8 will enter production in the first quarter of next year and that possibly Samsung will produce 400 thousand units of this model.
