Samsung is getting ready for a big tech reveal. The company will host its Galaxy Event on September 4, 2025. This event will unveil their next top-tier tablet, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. This news follows their recent release of the more affordable Galaxy Tab S10 Lite on August 25, 2025.
Before its official debut, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra gave us a sneak peek at its power. Early performance tests used the Device Info HW app on Android. These tests showed the tablet will pack a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset. This premium chip features a Cortex-X925 CPU core. It can reach a blazing fast speed of 3.73 GHz. This is a nice bump up from the Dimensity 9400, which topped out at 3.63 GHz.

The tablet also went through tougher tests using Geekbench 6.4.0. Its scores are certainly impressive:
- Single-Core (one CPU core): 2,500 points
- Multi-Core (multiple CPU cores): 8,700 points
These numbers show a clear improvement over Samsung’s last flagship tablet, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. That older model, powered by the Dimensity 9300+, scored 2,200 in single-core and 7,500 in multi-core tests. However, the new Tab S11 Ultra still lags behind the top-of-the-line Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphone. That phone, using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, hit 3,000 points in single-core and 9,800 points in multi-core.

Beyond performance, other details about the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra have surfaced. It will likely keep a large 14.6-inch OLED screen. The battery gets a slight upgrade, now at 11,600 mAh, and supports 45W fast charging. Design-wise, it’s expected to be super thin at just 5.5 mm. Some whispers even suggest it could be as thin as 5.1 mm. The tablet will weigh 692 grams. For comparison, the older Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra was 5.4 mm thick and weighed 718 grams. This new model will also have a smaller notch at the top of the screen.
Pricing details have also leaked for the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra:
- 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage: $1,200
- 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage: $1,400
- 16 GB RAM + 1 TB storage: $1,700
The Galaxy Event on September 4, 2025, isn’t just about the S11 Ultra. Samsung also plans to reveal the standard Galaxy Tab S11 tablet. Fans can also look forward to the launch of an affordable flagship phone, the Galaxy S25 FE.
