Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series has made a strong start, with 9.16 million units sold in the first two months. The Galaxy S25 Ultra was the top seller, moving 5.08 million units. This is more than the combined sales of the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+, which sold 2.41 million and 1.67 million units, respectively. The Galaxy S25 Ultra’s sales alone beat the total sales of the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ by 1 million units.
Comparing Sales to Last Year’s Model
The Galaxy S25 series has outperformed its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 series, which sold 6.53 million units in the same period. The Galaxy S25 Ultra was again the best-seller, with 3.58 million units sold, followed by the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+, which sold 1.67 million and 1.28 million units, respectively.
The strong sales of the Galaxy S25 series can be attributed to its improved features and design. The Galaxy S25 Ultra, in particular, has been well-received by consumers, with its advanced camera capabilities and sleek design.
A New Addition to the Series
Samsung is expected to release a new model, the Galaxy S25 Edge, in May 2025. This device is said to be positioned between the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra in terms of features and pricing. The Galaxy S25 Edge is rumored to have a slim design, measuring just 5.85mm in thickness and weighing 163g. It is also expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset.
- The Galaxy S25 Edge may become a popular choice among consumers due to its unique features and competitive pricing.
