Samsung just unveiled its newest “Fan Edition” phone. The Galaxy S25 FE made its debut at IFA 2025 in Berlin, Germany. This new phone looks a lot like last year’s S24 FE. But it packs a bigger battery and offers better performance across the board.
Under the hood, the Galaxy S25 FE gets a big power boost. It runs on the Samsung Exynos 2400 chip. This chip is built using a 4nm process. It can hit speeds up to 3.21 GHz. That’s a nice jump from the S24 FE’s Exynos 2400e, which topped out at 3.1 GHz. A bigger 4,900 mAh battery keeps things running longer. It also charges quickly with 45W fast charging. Samsung even added a cooling chamber that’s 10% larger.
This powerful chip pairs with 8 GB of RAM. You can get storage options up to 512 GB. The phone comes with Android 16. It also uses Samsung’s One UI 8 software. Samsung promises seven years of software and security updates. That’s a long time to keep your phone fresh and safe.
The front of the phone boasts a vibrant 6.7-inch screen. It’s a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with LTPS tech. Pictures look sharp with Full HD+ resolution. Scrolling is super smooth thanks to a 120 Hz refresh rate. This screen also gets incredibly bright, up to 1,900 Nits. You’ll find the fingerprint sensor built right into the display. Plus, the front camera got an upgrade to 12 megapixels for better selfies.
The back of the phone features three cameras. These cameras use the same sensors found in last year’s Galaxy S24 FE.
- The main camera shoots at 50 megapixels. It has an f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS).
- There’s also a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera. It captures a huge 123-degree view with an f/2.2 aperture.
- A third camera is an 8-megapixel telephoto lens. It includes OIS and offers 3x optical zoom.
All these features fit into a slim 7.4 mm body. The phone is tough, too, with an IP68 rating. This means it’s fully protected from dust. It can also handle being in water up to 1.5 meters deep for at least 30 minutes. Both the front and back are covered with strong Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+. An aluminum frame wraps around the edges for extra durability.
The Galaxy S25 FE also comes with some cool extra features.

- There are many smart AI tools packed inside. These include Gemini Live, ProVisual Engine, and Now Bar. You can also use Circle to Search, Generative Edit, and Portrait Studio. Handy features like Audio Eraser and Instant Slow-mo are also present.
- The phone supports wireless charging. You can even use it to charge other devices wirelessly.
The Galaxy S25 FE comes in four stylish colors. You can choose from Icyblue, Jetblack, Navy, and White.
