Samsung is set to launch its latest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S25 Edge, on May 13, 2025. The device is expected to be the brand’s thinnest flagship, measuring just 5.8mm in thickness.
Design and Display
The Galaxy S25 Edge boasts a sleek design with a flat screen and ultra-thin bezels. The phone features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals. The screen is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, providing enhanced durability. The device is available in three color options: Titanium Icyblue, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Jetblack.
Camera Capabilities
The phone is equipped with a dual-camera setup, featuring a 200-megapixel primary sensor that supports 2x optical zoom and a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens. The front camera has a 12-megapixel sensor.
Performance and Storage
The Galaxy S25 Edge is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, clocked at 4.47 GHz, paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device also features IP68 water and dust resistance, allowing it to withstand being submerged in water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.
Battery Life
One potential concern is the battery capacity, which is reportedly 3,900mAh. This is relatively lower compared to other models in the Galaxy S25 series.
Accessories
Leaked promotional images also reveal various accessories, including silicone cases in black, blue, and gray, as well as a Kindsuit Case made from PU material with a leather-like texture. Other accessories include a transparent silicone case and an anti-reflective screen protector.
