Apparently, the Galaxy S23 will only use Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processors, ending the launch of the same device with different processors. That decision, it is now known, will continue to be imposed at the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S24.
Although the current generation of Samsung’s top-of-the-range has not yet been made official, talk is already beginning of its successors. And the news that we now receive will be liked by all fans of the brand.
Samsung Galaxy S24 will arrive with customized version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3
This information is brought by the well-known filter Yogesh Brar and notes that Samsung’s partnership with Qualcomm will not be the only example. Next year, the Galaxy S24 will also use the “Snapdragon Mobile Platform for Galaxy.”
This is the official name given to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processors that will equip the Samsung Galaxy S23. It will not be the same processor presented last November, but an exclusive version for South Korean products.
In fact, the Galaxy S23 will benefit from an optimized and more powerful version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. This will arrive with higher CPU and GPU frequencies than those used in the original version of the Qualcomm processor.
It will be Samsung itself that produces this special version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. This indicates that the South Koreans will be able to instill some more assets into these processors so that they work more optimally in their Galaxy smartphones.
In 2024 this strategy will be repeated, as Yogesh Brar is now advancing. Samsung will once again produce another version of the alleged Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 designed especially for its equipment.
Qualcomm presents itself as a temporary solution for Samsung
Surely many will be happy to know that Qualcomm processors will be present in Samsung equipment until at least 2024. However, this association may be temporary.
Several rumors suggest that Samsung is developing its own new processor designed specifically for the Galaxy S line. It is not clear if it will be a reincarnation of the Exynos or an entirely new component with a new name.
