According to Samsung, the top series Galaxy S23 is proving to be a bestseller all over the world.
In Europe, the latest high-end series has seen a 1.5x increase over its Galaxy S22 predecessor, but there are more good results for the South Korean giant.
Galaxy S23 series outsells its predecessor in various markets around the world
This is a time of good news for Samsung. After being considered a leader in the soundbar segment for the ninth consecutive year, the South Korean brand is also recording very positive results in the smartphone market.
According to data released by Samsung itself, the Galaxy S23 series is being a sales success and surpassing the results obtained by the previous generation. In Europe, the latest top series saw a 1.5-fold increase in sales over the previous generation.
The same was true in the Middle East and Indian markets, where unit sales increased 1.5 and 1.4 times, respectively. In South and Central America, the success was even greater with a 1.7 times increase in sales.
Interestingly, its home country is where Samsung is getting less than brilliant results. The Galaxy S23 series is registering a sales pace quite similar to that achieved by the previous generation.
Still according to the data published by Samsung, the model of the series that stands out for its popularity is the Galaxy S23 Ultra. This smartphone is responsible for approximately 60% of unit sales worldwide. The Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ models account for 20% of global sales.
Apparently, Samsung is taking steps to get closer to the goal set for this series of smartphones.
It should be remembered that after the presentation of the new series, TM Roh, president of Samsung Mobile Experience, stated that the company intends to achieve double-digit growth in sales of the Galaxy S23 series compared to the previous generation.
On April 20, Samsung’s latest top series hits the Japanese market and about a month later it will start to be available in Africa and West Asia.
