Samsung Galaxy S23 or S23+: which is more resistant to falls?

Smartphones are increasingly amazing pieces of engineering, but ones that we must treat with care. This is because they may not hold up to drops like we expect.

Since you never know tomorrow, my advice is to always use a case on your smartphone. You protect your investment and avoid scares. And it seems that this is quite valid for the new Galaxy S23 Ultra and S23+.

Recently, the Galaxy S23 Ultra went through the popular drop test on the PBKReviews YouTube channel. And it was not in the best way, since the smartphone broke in the first fall that was made in the waist area.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and S23+ have Gorilla Glass Victus 2

It should be remembered that the Galaxy S23 Ultra has the latest version of Gorilla Glass Victus 2. But even that did not prevent it from breaking on the first drop. And you might think it was just because it had a curved screen on the sides.

But the sibling Galaxy S23+, also with Gorilla Glass Victus 2, broke in the same kind of drop. As you can see in the video below, it remained touch-responsive and displayed content without any issues.

These videos show that both pieces of equipment can be fragile when exposed to these types of drops. So a cover and/or a tempered glass film on your screen will only do them good, and leave you more relaxed.
