There are more and more rumors about Samsung’s next top, the Galaxy S23. The most recent refers specifically to the base model of the family and how the brand can make this model cheaper.
As recently teased on Twitter, Samsung could use a less powerful vibration motor in the Galaxy S23. The objective will be to keep production costs lower and, consequently, a more affordable price.
Samsung Galaxy S23 could sacrifice its vibration motor
With the price of technological components rising, it is natural for companies to redouble their efforts to remain competitive. Sometimes this can mean sacrifices and that is what is now on the table.
To keep the Samsung Galaxy S23 more accessible, the South Korean will be able to cut the vibration motor of this equipment. In this way, the company would safeguard financial resources for other components that it considers more advantageous.
This decision could mean one more difference between the various models included in the Samsung Galaxy S23 series. In fact, the respective Plus and Ultra models may have a more powerful vibration motor or at least the same as the one present in the counterparts of the Galaxy S22 line.
Although Samsung saves on the vibration motor of the Samsung Galaxy S23, nothing guarantees that the equipment will reach the market cheaper than the Galaxy S22. Such data can only be measured when the smartphone is started.
On the other hand, Samsung left an empty spot in the market by discontinuing the FE line. We are talking about equipment with high-end specifications, but with surgical sacrifices to have a more advantageous price.
Therefore, a reduction in the price of the Galaxy S23 would allow Samsung to place this model in the gap left by the FE line. After all, everything indicates that the Galaxy S22 FE was not launched precisely because it was very close to the Galaxy S22.
