Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is ‘ironed’ by car in endurance test (video)

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is the latest flagship from the South Korean manufacturer. After being presented last week, it reaches the Portuguese market on February 25. For now, it is being tested intensively.

The PBKReviews YouTube channel is known for its intensive smartphone tests. And in the latest video, he tested the gear’s dexterity and durability in the harshest of conditions.

The test begins by immersing the smartphone in water for about an hour. And as expected, nothing bad happens to it, since it is IP68 certified. Before the scratches, it begins to have visible damage on the screen from level 6. On the back of the terminal, the scratches are visible only at level 8.

Even in the face of risks, the biometric sensor built into the screen does not face any problems. The usual folding test is attempted, and the smartphone does not suffer any damage. But as this channel has accustomed us, the test is taken to another level.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra withstands the passage of a car

Let’s imagine that you drop your smartphone before getting into the car and run over it with the steering wheel. Can you control it? Apart from some scratches on the screen, it seems that nothing has happened to the smartphone.

This leads to the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra receiving an excellent score of 9.5 out of 10 points in the test. It receives top marks for water resistance, material quality, flex potential, and safety. Only in scratch resistance do you lose half a point.

The only flaw in this test is that we do not see how the smartphone withstands falls. But given all the robustness, it is believable that the smartphone can behave safely in these types of conditions.
