Revamped S Pen for a closer typing experience
At the launch of Samsung’s next flagship Galaxy S22 Ultra, it seems that we will also find a revamped S Pen. A new video from YouTuber Xeetechcare now reveals that Samsung’s flagship model S Pen is three times faster than the Note 20 Ultra.
And, since the South Korean giant intends to continue launching new Note models, also compatible with the S Pen, this news is quite positive for users of this model, since they will be able to have access to an optimized S Pen.
As we can see in the video just released, the South Korean giant managed to minimize the input lag, or latency, of the S Pen to just 2.8 ms, when paired with the Galaxy S22 Ultra model.
In other words, the new S Pen manages to be three times faster than its predecessor which has a latency of 9 ms. According to youtuber Xeetechcare, Samsung aims to provide all S Pen users with an experience closer to that offered by handwriting.
Expected Specs on the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra
Although there is no specific information on the presentation date of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, predictions suggest that it will occur between February and March, in an event Unpacked of the brand, dedicated solely to the presentation of the new Galaxy S22 series.
However, several rumors have already advanced some of the main specifications that we can expect to find in the Galaxy S22 Ultra model. In that regard, the device is expected to have a quad rear camera setup with a massive 108-megapixel main sensor. It will be powered by a robust 5000 mAh battery with support for 15 watt fast charging and will sport a 6.8-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x3200 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
