The next high-end smartphones from Samsung may have a shine never before seen on any phone.
The proof comes from the results of the tests that the screens of the Galaxy S22 + and S22 Ultra models carried out in the brand’s own laboratory.
Development lab tests show maximum brightness records for Galaxy S22 + and Galaxy S22 Ultra models
The previously disclosed information had already realized that the Galaxy S22 + and Galaxy S22 Ultra screens were going to surprise with the level of brightness they offered. But now there is strong evidence that Samsung’s upcoming high-end models can display a brilliance never before seen in a terminal.
The evidence comes in the form of an official document from the South Korean company that shows the results obtained in tests carried out in its development laboratory. In that document it is shown that both models reach a maximum brightness that has not yet been registered in any other smartphone.
With a maximum brightness of 1750 nits, the Galaxy S22 + and Galaxy S22 Ultra displays not only outperform their predecessors, they outperform any rival brand. However, with the automatic mode on, the brightness level does not exceed 1500 nits.
Samsung outperforms rival Apple

But to better appreciate the extraordinary result achieved by Samsung, let’s remember that Apple’s iPhone 13 Pro Max registers 1000 nits in High Brightness mode and a maximum brightness of 1200 nits.
In this sense, this Apple model is at the same level as the next Galaxy S22, a standard model, which registers a brightness of 1000 nits, on its screen.
But there is more. Both models also offer contrast ratios on the order of 3,000,000: 1, in addition to offering 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. In practice, these values mean that the user sees more vivid colors, especially if they enjoy HDR-compatible content.
Galaxy S22 models will feature large screens

And all these features will be gloriously displayed on the Galaxy S22 + ‘s 6.55-inch display and the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s 6.81-inch display, the latter of which should include support for the S Pen, due to the massive dimensions of the panel.
Samsung is expected to present and launch models of its next high-end Galaxy S22 series soon. However, the date is yet to be seen, with information heading to both late February and early March for an Unpacked event that will be entirely dedicated to the unveiling of these models.
