Samsung’s Galaxy M smartphones are one of the best models available in the mid-range segment and it seems that the South Korean giant wants to maintain the “tradition”.
According to the information released now, the new Galaxy M54 will arrive with the Snapdragon 888 chip and a huge 6,000 mAh battery that makes it one of the best models in its segment.
Specifications expected in the Samsung Galaxy M54 5G

It is not clear if Samsung will launch the new Galaxy M54 later this year or if it will be one of the first releases of 2023, but judging by the rumors released, this model could be one of the best in the mid-range segment. as is, by the way, usual for Samsung in its Galaxy M series.
According to the YouTube channel The Pixel, the terminal will be equipped with the Snapdragon 888 processor, considered by many to be one of the best mid-range chips. Complementing the processor will be 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, as well as adding support for 5G communications.
The AMOLED screen will be 6.67 inches and will provide a Full HD + resolution, as well as a refresh rate of 90 Hz. But the highlight goes directly to the huge 6,000 mAh battery that will come with support for 25-watt fast charging.
On the optical side, the Galaxy M54 is expected to have a triple camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 5-megapixel resolution macro sensor.
It is not known if it will integrate optical image stabilization, but it will almost certainly have 4K video recording capacity on the rear panel and the 32-megapixel front camera.
What changes between the Galaxy M53 and the Galaxy M54
Samsung is making some upgrades to its Galaxy M54 model from the previous model. However, some of the good attributes of the Galaxy M53 may not be included in the new model.
For example, the rear camera setup is substantially different. The Galaxy M53 has a 108-megapixel primary sensor that is assisted by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle and a depth and macro sensor, both with a resolution of 2-megapixels.
Another difference will be on the screen. The M53’s 6.7-inch AMOLED panel provides a 120Hz refresh rate. This model is also equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 900 chip, unlike the successor model which will integrate Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888.
And while both models support 25W fast charging, they’ll have very different batteries. The Galaxy M53 integrates a 5,000 mAh battery, but the Galaxy M54 will make the “jump” to a massive 6,000 mAh battery.
