It won’t be long before Samsung introduces its new wireless headsets. Galaxy Buds 2 keep few secrets, and it’s expected to be shown during the Unpacked event on August 11.
Fan enthusiasm for the new pair of headphones is skyrocketing with a twist they’ll love. This has been practically confirmed by the famous Leaker Ice Universe that the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 will have active noise cancellation.
For a long time, it was assumed that Samsung would skip ANC technology in Galaxy Buds 2. To a large extent, fans were already confirmed with this move, largely because of its price tag, which is expected to be around $150.
The blow to the face now comes from the hand of one of the leaks more attached to the designs of Samsung. Ice Universe doesn’t just point out that the Galaxy Buds 2 will have active noise cancellation, as a shared image to prove it.
The illustration above will certainly be the companion app for these headphones. There, as in many other applications of its kind, we see the possibility of switching between the profiles available for Galaxy Buds 2.
What stands out most is the presence of active noise cancellation, but the same picture confirms something else. On the far right, we have the “ambient sound” option which will certainly be a mode of transparency.
The latter will allow the user to hear what is going on around them without removing the Galaxy Buds 2 from their ears. Functionality is highly appreciated among the various products of the segment available on the market.
In another post on Twitter, Ice Universe highlights another one of the expected news for the new Samsung headsets. In this case, the source is limited to informing that the Galaxy Buds 2 will have “better bass performance”.
There is no benchmark shown here, so we assume the improvement will be noticed across Samsung’s audio product portfolio. An improvement that will undoubtedly delight fans of the South Korean brand.
In short, the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 presents itself as a very attractive proposition for those looking for a TWS headset. As well as being reasonably priced, it won’t sacrifice some of the most popular details currently in this market.
