The South Korean giant presented the Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A33 5G models last Thursday (17) at the Galaxy Awesome Unpacked event, shortly after, although in silence, the best model in this range, the new Samsung Galaxy A73 5G.
The new Samsung phone stands out for its Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor, quad main camera with a 108 MP sensor, as well as a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with Full-HD+ resolution and a high refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.
The Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is the most powerful of the Galaxy A trio for 2022

First of all, the design of the Galaxy A73 5G is identical, if not the same, as that of the Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A33 5G, the two most affordable models in the range. In effect, we have the same smooth finish between the camera and the body of the device.
There’s a remarkable consistency and simplicity to this new trio of phones, as well as various color schemes with equally muted tones beyond the typical black and white. In short, a modern and especially nice design.
The front of the Galaxy A73 5G has a 6.7-inch diagonal screen with Full-HD+ resolution, Super AMOLED technology and a high refresh rate of 120 Hz (Infinity-O) with cutout (perforation) for the front camera.
The “heart” is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 788G

The “engine” of this new phone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G chipset. It is an octa-core SoC with a maximum processing frequency of 2.4 GHz and 6nm lithography for greater efficiency. It is also present in mobiles such as the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G NE, for example.
Samsung has included support for microSD memory cards up to 1TB in this phone, as well as RAM values between 6GB and 8GB. In addition, we have between 128 GB to 256 GB of internal storage to store applications, files and memories.
In short, we are facing a new mid/high-end smartphone that can even rival the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, a device par excellence. On the other hand, the new Galaxy A missed the door Jack 3.5mm
What’s more, they also lost the USB adapter/charger included in the box until then. We do, however, have the IP67 certification that guarantees resistance to water and dust.
The highlight goes to the 108 MP quad camera
To enable the creation of high-quality memories, Samsung has renewed the range of cameras in this model. We thus have a 108 MP main sensor with a wide-angle lens, in addition to three other auxiliary sensors.
More specifically, we have a 12 MP ultra wide angle camera, as well as a 5 MP camera for macro and, finally, a fourth 5 MP camera for depth. The Galaxy Camera app puts all this hardware to good use.
In fact, the app has several ways to create content optimized for sharing on social networks. Among these, we highlight the Single Shot or Single Shot mode that creates, at once, several formats and styles for the same photograph and/or video.
In short, it is the camera that differentiates this mobile from the rest, lacking, of course, its quality on a day-to-day basis. However, the features are quite promising in this new Samsung Galaxy A73 5G.
