Samsung has accelerated the release pace of the update for the operating system android 12 from Google, covered by its One UI 4, to various smartphones such as, for example, the Samsung Galaxy A52 Y Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite. The update is already underway, reaching various regions such as Europe.
These are, in fact, the last models to receive the latest version of the operating system, full of news, with visual changes and new security, privacy and personalization functions. At the same time, they will also have a performance improvement with the optimizations included by the South Korean manufacturer.
One UI 4 brings Android 12 to these Samsung smartphones
The beginning of the distribution was first announced by the Sammobile portal, giving an account of the new firmware that will come to the Samsung Galaxy A52 smartphones, as well as the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite. We remind you that these are two of the most popular Samsung mid-range smartphones in Portugal, both now with notable news.
It is also important to note that Samsung also began updating the Galaxy A72 smartphone, high-mid-range, thus continuing with the updates of its mid-range line. Once again, it is in this range, as well as in the entry line, where South Korean technology concentrates the highest volume of sales.
That said, the update of the devices in question shows us a commitment by technology to bring the latest news to its users, not just stick with high-end smartphones. Thus, for the aforementioned devices, the update began in Russia, then reached Europe, with a gradual and staggered distribution.
Update coming to various Samsung smartphones in 2022
It is important to note that in addition to the general system update to Android 12, both smartphones also receive the patch December 2021 security patch. This package resolves some security gaps and completes flaws detected by Google.
So for the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy A52, we have a faster, more streamlined and more efficient system. There is also the ability to enable virtual RAM expansion, as well as take advantage of new animations, layout, and customization options.
Google’s Material You design permeates all key aspects of One UI 4.0. It will be visible on information cards, widgets, animations and other elements of the system. We also have the option of Approximate Location so that the applications cannot track the user with such precision.
Lighter, more customizable, and packed with features for Samsung smartphones
Also, Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite and Samsung Galaxy A52 users will find a faster and more intuitive camera app. The improvements also come to the video and photo editor, with more features, faster and more reliable.
Finally, we also have the Extra Dim function that considerably reduces the brightness of the screen. It will be more noticeable on AMOLED displays and especially for those who use their smartphone at night it will be a much appreciated feature.
It should also be noted that this news distribution is done gradually and staggered, with improvements arriving via OTA (through the air). Now, it will be a matter of time before the update with One UI 4 reaches more models of Samsung smartphones.
