The 3.5mm jack input is now a thing of the past on high-end smartphones. The trend was started by Apple and extends to virtually every brand, including Samsung.
Although this dear door has been abandoned in teams cousin, is still included in most mid-range devices. But judging by the latest information leaks, Samsung is preparing to ditch it on one of its most popular smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy A33 can abandon the 3.5mm jack port
A 91mobiles exclusive and Steve H. McFly leaks reveal the supposed design of the Samsung Galaxy A33, one of the brand’s next mid-range. And the absence of this port is notorious, both in the upper and lower part of the equipment.
This leak comes after the supposed design of the Galaxy A53 was released in early November. This, which will be the successor to the most successful mid-range line, will also not, according to these images, have a 3.5 mm jack port for headphones.
The leak shows a Galaxy A33 with a 6.4-inch AMOLED panel, with a teardrop notch for the front camera. And in the back of the equipment we find space for four cameras.
The smartphone appears in these unofficial renderings with a USB-C port and a speaker in the background. Where the 3.5mm jack port would normally be, we find the SIM card slot.
According to the source, this mid-range smartphone will be presented during the first quarter of 2022. It remains to be seen if the abandonment of this port will be confirmed and if this could affect the sales of the equipment.
