Thanks to the latter, the owners of the foldable smartphone can change the colors of the shell. The Korean firm calls this Galaxy Z Flip 3 “Bespoke Edition”. This conference is an opportunity to discover several innovations, but no real new hardware. After the Apple and Google conferences, Samsung preferred to talk about personalization. Personalization in One UI, which will arrive soon with Android 12. Personalization also for the colors of several products. Two products are concerned: the Galaxy z flip 3 and the Galaxy watch 4.
Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition: color and customization
The firm therefore presents the Bespoke Edition of these two products. Bespoke refers Samsung’s customizable refrigerator. With the difference that the latter is not only customizable in terms of the color of the casing, but also on the number of modules: 2, 3, 4, 6… Samsung is therefore trying here to decline the concept.
How is it going ? By ordering from the official Samsung online store, you can create a watch or smartphone that matches your taste in color. On the Galaxy Z Flip 3, you can change the color of the mineral glass on both parts of the back. Samsubng announces 49 possible combinations. And it is obvious that more will arrive soon. For the Z Flip 3, each copy is assembled on demand.
A personalization service already available
As for the Galaxy Watch 4, you can change the color of the case and, of course, the strap, for a very large number of variations. For comparison, the Apple Watch Series 6 and SE only offered 3 variations. Fortunately, this year, Apple has decided to bring up to 10 possible colorways. Samsung therefore responds here to the decision of the Cupertino company.
The service is available today, even in France. And Samsung announces that it will soon be possible to buy additional covers for the Z Flip 3 in order to modulate the colors of the smartphone.
