Salman Khan’s Security Breach Sparks Concern in Bollywood

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s security has been breached once again, raising concerns about the safety of celebrities. Recently, two strangers attempted to enter his Mumbai-based Galaxy Apartment, sparking a fresh debate about the security measures in place for film stars. This isn’t the first time an unknown person has tried to enter a celebrity’s home – several actors have faced similar incidents in the past.

On May 20, a young man named Jitendra Kumar Singh from Chhattisgarh tried to enter Salman’s apartment around 9:45 am. He expressed a desire to meet the security guards but was denied entry. In a fit of rage, he threw his phone and was subsequently caught by the security personnel and handed over to the police. The next day, a woman named Isha Chhabra from Mumbai attempted to enter Salman’s apartment around 3:30 am. She managed to reach the lift and head straight to his flat but was caught by the security guards and handed over to the Bandra police.

These incidents have led to a renewed focus on the security of celebrities. In the past, several stars have faced similar breaches. For instance, in January 2025, a man attacked Saif Ali Khan with a knife at his home, leaving him with injuries on his back, neck, and hand. The attacker was caught and handed over to the police. In another incident, two bike-borne men fired shots outside Salman Khan’s home, prompting him to increase his security measures, including installing bulletproof glass windows and high-tech CCTV cameras.

Other celebrities who have faced security breaches include Shah Rukh Khan, whose home ‘Mannat’ was burgled in March 2023. Two thieves from Gujarat entered his makeup room and stayed there for around eight hours. The police caught them and registered a case. Similarly, in 2012, a thief named Deepak Kewat attempted to steal from Amitabh Bachchan’s home ‘Jalsa’. He climbed a tree and entered the house through an open window, stealing Rs 8,000 from a drawer. The security personnel caught him, and he was handed over to the police.

In 2009, Hrithik Roshan’s home was also burgled, with the thief stealing around Rs 10 lakh in cash and Rs 25 lakh worth of jewelry. Although the family didn’t file a police complaint, the incident highlights the vulnerability of celebrities to security breaches. Other actors who have faced similar incidents include Poonam Dhillon, whose home was burgled by a painter, and Dino Morea, whose home was burgled while he was asleep.

These incidents underscore the need for robust security measures to protect celebrities from potential threats. As the security of Salman Khan and other celebrities continues to be a concern, it remains to be seen what steps will be taken to prevent such breaches in the future.
