Adi Irani, who worked alongside Salman in the film “Chupke Chupke,” has now shared some interesting insights into their relationship. He recalled how Salman would often get disheartened by his father’s comments, which, although well-intentioned, would sometimes be harsh.
In an interview with Filmymantara Media, Adi Irani opened up about Salman’s behavior on the sets of “Chupke Chupke.” When asked about Salman’s attitude, Adi said, “He wasn’t rowdy or arrogant; he just wanted to live life on his own terms. If he wasn’t in the mood for something, he simply wouldn’t do it. I think his childlike behavior was often misinterpreted as arrogance, but that wasn’t the case. He wasn’t trying to be difficult; he was just being himself.” Adi’s words offer a glimpse into Salman’s personality, showcasing a more vulnerable side to the superstar.
Salman’s Journey to Self-Discovery
Adi Irani further elaborated on Salman’s growth as a person, saying, “He comes from a film family, and his father, Salim Khan, is a great man. Salman is a good person too, and he’s worked hard on himself. He knows one very important thing: how to understand himself. It’s essential to recognize your strengths and weaknesses, whether you’re a good actor, an average one, or a great one. You need to know yourself, and Salman has done just that.” Adi’s statement highlights Salman’s self-awareness and his ability to recognize his own strengths and limitations.
Salim’s Tough Love
Adi also shared some personal anecdotes about Salim Khan’s behavior towards Salman. He revealed, “I’ve known Salman since before he entered the film industry. My ex-girlfriend was a close friend of Salim Khan’s, and I would often visit their home. I’d see how Salim Khan would interact with Salman, and I’d think, ‘How can a father be so tough on his son?’ Salman was very interested in working out, and when he’d exercise, Salim Khan would say in front of me, ‘Look at him, he thinks becoming an actor is all about building a body. Does he know what it takes to be a good actor?'”
A Father’s Unconventional Motivation
Adi believes that Salim Khan’s tough love was, in fact, a motivation tactic. He said, “Salman would get disheartened by his father’s comments, wondering why his dad wasn’t being more supportive. My girlfriend told me that this was all part of Salim Khan’s psychology – he wanted to push Salman to prove himself, to motivate him to work harder. And that’s exactly what happened.” This unique dynamic between Salman and his father has undoubtedly played a significant role in shaping the person he is today.
