Bollywood superstar Salman Khan met with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in Mumbai on Thursday evening. The high-profile meeting aimed to globalize the state’s ambitious ‘Telangana Rising 2047 Vision’ initiative.
Khan pledged his support to spread awareness of the progressive vision worldwide. He stated, “I will take the message of Telangana Rising across the world.”
Chief Minister Reddy’s initiative seeks to establish Telangana as India’s leading state. It also aims to transform Hyderabad into one of the world’s greatest cities.
The state government has taken a significant step by acquiring L&T’s stake in the Metro project. This move is designed to ensure rapid expansion and last-mile connectivity across the city.
Chief Minister Reddy recently shared details of this commitment and the metro acquisition on social media.

Reddy also outlined plans for a Water Grid Project to address water conservation and environmental challenges. This initiative aims to make Hyderabad India’s first “Climate-Resilient City.”
Efforts include the revival of the Musi river, cleaning of lakes, and recovery of drains.
Another ambitious project, “Bharat Future City,” is under development. It is envisioned as the country’s most advanced and futuristic urban center.
Further plans include a Regional Ring Road, a Regional Rail network, and a Bullet Train network. New manufacturing zones are also part of the strategy to transform Telangana into a major industrial hub.
The Chief Minister’s vision targets a $1 trillion economy for Telangana by 2034. The ultimate goal is to achieve a $3 trillion economy by 2047.
Outside of this advocacy, Khan remains active in his entertainment career. He is currently filming ‘Battle of Galwan’. He also hosts the popular television show ‘Big Boss 19’.
