Salim Ghosh died at the age of 70, he worked with Shahrukh Khan on coal

Veteran actor Salim Ghouse, who has acted in Bollywood and South Indian films, has passed away due to a heart attack. His family members said Ghosh, 70, was rushed to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital in Vasorva on Wednesday night, but doctors pronounced him dead. Born in Chennai, Ghosh was educated there, later graduating from FTII Pune and then venturing into the theaters.

He was also considered an expert in martial arts. He made a mark with his roles in ‘Bharat Ek Khoja’, ‘Wagle Ki Duniya’, ‘Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi’ and ‘Subha’. He gained popularity in Bollywood and South India. In the year 1978, he began his acting career with Heaven Hell. Alongside this, he also performed with some of the biggest stars and banners.
