Saka Suffers Thigh Injury, Out Four Weeks for Arsenal; Misses Liverpool, Qualifiers.

Saka gets injured and weakens the team for the game against Liverpool

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has received some tough news. The team will be without star player Bukayo Saka this Sunday. Arsenal is set to play Liverpool in the third match of the Premier League season. Saka will miss the big game due to a muscle injury in his thigh.

The English winger picked up the injury during Arsenal’s dominant 5-0 victory over Leeds. He even scored a goal in that match. Now, Saka will be out of action for four weeks as he recovers. This means he will also miss some important international games next month. England has 2026 World Cup qualifiers scheduled for September against Andorra and Serbia. Saka will not be able to join his national team for these matches.

As if Saka’s absence wasn’t enough, the Spanish coach of the Gunners has another headache. Mikel Arteta still doesn’t know if he can use Martin Odegaard against Liverpool. The Norwegian attacking midfielder is currently dealing with a shoulder problem. It looks like Arsenal might be short-handed for a crucial league fixture.
