Sai Sudarshan and Rajat Patidar are part of the ODI team, while T20 star Rinku Singh has also been given a place.

The Indian team will tour South Africa for a series of all three formats starting in December. BCCI has announced the team for all three formats. This tour of Africa could prove to be a game opener for uncapped batsmen like Rajat Patidar and Sai Sudarshan as both have been included in the ODI squad and both are eligible to make their international debut. Furthermore, Rinku Singh, who excelled in T20, has also been given a place in the ODI team.

KL Rahul has been named captain of Team India for the ODI series against South Africa. Only young players were accepted into the team. 30-year-old Rajat Patidar, who plays for RCB in the IPL, was injured for some time. After recovering from the injury, he took part in the Vijay Hazare Trophy which is being played these days and caught the attention of the selectors with his amazing performance.

Rinku Singh, who did wonders for India in T20 International, has now got a chance in ODIs too. Rinku made her international debut in the T20 series against Ireland in August 2023. Rinku has so far played 8 international T20 matches in which he played the role of finisher in 4 innings and scored 128 runs at a massive strike rate of 216.94. Rinku returned unbeaten in three of four innings.
