The MCC has confirmed Tendulkar’s acceptance of the honorary membership through a tweet.

Sachin Tendulkar holds the record for the most Test runs scored by an Indian batsman at the MCG. He has accumulated 449 runs in five Test matches at an average of 44.90 and a strike rate of 58.69. His impressive record at the MCG includes one century and three half-centuries.

Tendulkar’s illustrious career is marked by numerous achievements. He has scored over 15,000 runs in Test cricket, with 51 centuries in 200 matches. In One-Day Internationals (ODIs), he has scored 18,426 runs, including 49 centuries in 463 matches.
